The Rage is strong with this one!

Last year, it was revealed DOOM Eternal – developed by id Software and published by Bethesda – would be released on the Switch in 2019. Not long after this, it was confirmed port specialist Panic Button would be handling the Nintendo release.

In an interview around the same time with Variety, id Software studio director Tim Willits said Rage 2 - developed in partnership with Avalanche Studios - was currently being evaluated for the Switch.

Fast forward to now and Willits has provided a one-word update about the possibility of Rage 2 coming to the Switch in the future. During a meet up with Polygon in a Manhattan bar a week ago, Willits said the team at id and Bethesda was “investigating” a Switch version of the game.

Considering how id Software already has DOOM, Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus and now DOOM Eternal up and running on the Switch thanks to the assistance of Panic Button, Rage 2 might be in with a chance.
