From The Desk of Sgt. Bilby: My Hopes and (minor) Expectations of Nintendo at E3 2019

As you know, E3 2019 is coming with in a month (that is if you're reading this by the 1st of May) and here are my opinions on the matter with some quips on the side My Hopes and (minor) Expectations of Nintendo at E3 2019

As we know by now, the Nintendo Switch is INDEED the console that really is the definition of the Gift That Keeps on Giving as every month sees releases out the wazoo and while yes some releases are not home runners but the majority of which are fun regardless (like the recent surprise Switch port of the WiiWare classic "Defend Your Castle" for instance) but as you already know, I keep a moderately open mind in terms of what to expect from Nintendo in E3 2019 (or at E3 in general) If anything, Here are my hopes and [minor] expectations of Nintendo at E3 2019 - Surprises and Shadow Drops for eShop

- Release Dates for Mario and Sonic at the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games, Pokemon Sword and Shield, Animal Crossing and Luigi's Mansion 3 (i'm no talking [insert season or month here] 2019 release dates, I mean concrete as eff release dates for EVERY. SINGLE. ONE of them)

- A Smash DLC announcement either at the Smash Invitational or at the (currently unnamed) Video Presentation for E3 2019 Minor Quips regarding E3 2019 in General [and my 2 cents on this Switch Mini/Pro nonsense]

First let's focus on the elephant in the room, The lavish desire for either a Switch Mini and/or a Switch Pro The Switch is doing fine right now so why force Nintendo to make either a budget version or a souped up wallet raping model? Now i get it, You're afraid of the Switch being eclipsed by Google's Stadia service, The PS5 and the laughably executed discless version of the Xbox One but still, The Switch is doing fine as it is - If Nintendo is planning to make such devices, It will take time so we must enjoy the Switch as is Quite frankly, If a Switch Pro were to happen .. The one thing i wish to see from it is a built-in 5G/4G LTE router so gamers can freely play Gems of War, Fortnite and whatnot on the go Now let's move on up to my feelings on Sony's delusional decision to drop out of E3 2019

As you know, Last winter - Sony announced that they are dropping out of E3 2019 but unlike Nintendo when they did it, Sony just flat out acted like a entitled brat taking his ball and run home in a form of NO PRESENCE FOR E3! [I'm talking No Presentation, No Booth - NOTHING!] and with people going gaga for this unshown PS5 and the likelihood that all the promises will either be poorly handed or go the way of Fyre Festival in terms of execution - It's dumb for Sony to leave yet tease such a console

Now let's talk about the Xbox, the console that parents love to trash on YouTube This year, Microsoft is releasing a discless version of the Xbox One but as we already know, it's rendered as a laughing stock because of the following - same casing and price as the XBOX One S - No Game Pass - Bundled with Minecraft, Sea of Thieves and Forza Horizon 3 (not Forza Horizon 4, Forza Horizon 3!)

- 1TB of storage (which is a joke given how big some of these AAA games are in terms of gigabits and all that jazz)

Microsoft [while praised for letting Cuphead come to Switch] is now in the hot seat as they now must give gamers a good god forsaken reason to buy such a poorly executed variation of this console not to mention one thing XBOX is lacking ... games - they need to crap 20K rabbits outta their butts to make gamers praise this joke of a variation So yeah, Here's to what's in store for Nintendo at this year's E3 and hopes in seeing more 3rd party support for the platform on the way in the near future at that event!
