To review a game like this, I might as well explain (sort of) what PriPara is PriPara is a mass media offshoot of the Pretty Cure franchise in Japan with a arcade game, toys and an anime (the original anime lasted for 3 seasons and it's sequel "Idol Time PriPara" lasted for 2 seasons and it had a couple of films) This game and the arcade game that originated from it was developed by syn Sophia (creator of the Style Savvy series of DS/3DS games), The difference between this game and the arcade original is basically this... PriPara the arcade game relied on physical cards for your idol along with any form of QTEs on screen that require it, All Idol Perfect Stage did away with the physical cards, though the QTE parts are still present but not as worrisome At it's core, PriPara: All Idol Perfect Stage is a music game but a music game in a pretty loose sense as fashion and idol culture is the main focus of the game and franchise The music is very good though it might be too bubbly to most people's taste

Now the major question, Can you play this without knowing Japanese? Yes and No, If confused - Let me elaborate Yes, Technically you can play this without knowing Japanese as this IS a music game at heart No, You'll get lost in the Story Mode because of Japanese text - thankfully, there is a guide to fix that link here: https://gamefaqs.gamespot.com/boards/231530-pripara-all-idol-perfect-stage/76479273 If there's a black mark against it, It's the DLC - namely, it's prices First there's the dress up sets (look, i know this is aimed at girls but it's still unacceptable) For the individual sets, 500 yen (or $4.55 in conversion rate)
For the bundle, 1400 yen (or $12.75 in conversion rate) and there's the song DLC, 2 versions of the song "Waku Waku O' Clock" One sung by all girl idols and other with male idols The price? 900 yen (or $8.20 in conversion rates) each That being said, Is the game worth importing?
