In Defense of Kairosoft

With games like Project Highrise, the uber trainwreck that is the Tantalus-developed port of Cities Skylines and the upcoming Constructor Plus on the eShop, You might be asking "Why are you defending Kairosoft's inclusions to the Switch eShop?" Allow me to explain,

Simulation/Tycoon games can be a little complex for most of us, Basically it's like a house of playing cards or a Jenga tower - one bad move and everything goes to shit (especially on an infinite wallet) Kairosoft's tycoon/sim titles are more or less an easy way to get into the genre There are a few with extra gameplay involved like Dungeon Village and Ninja Village but the rest of the titles (more or less) are basically, a easy to manage tycoon/sim game that's a fun time killer Now, I know some of you will complain about the $11.99 price tag given Kairosoft's mobile roots and the entire stigma against mobile games on Switch but think of this for a moment While true, the mobile version might be cheaper, 10 to 1 - there will be a catch to it, mostly - micro transactions So far, None of Kairosoft's switch releases have no microtransactions of which it's a good thing So if i have to choose between a bastardized clunky port of a renowned sim game (Cities Skylines: Nintendo Switch Edition) or any of Kairosoft's titles - i'll chose Kairosoft mostly for price and quality Yes, I did praise Highrise but we shouldn't throw Kairosoft under the bus especially with Constructor Plus due to arrive this week Keep in mind, Just because a game isn't AAA or doesn't have 4k or shiny "current year" graphics and all that - doesn't mean it's a bag game There's always a diamond in the rough and Kairosoft's games are those lit'l diamonds that need your support Again, Kairosoft's titles are more worthy of your investment than a $40 broken port (Cities Skylines: Nintendo Switch Edition), so please give them a chance!
