Super Star Path is a double edge sword kind of game It's a unique shoot 'em up with a match 'em up mechanic but the gimmick is both the blessing and curse of the game depending on who plays it How hard is it? Imagine Star Soldier and Alien Hominid had a baby and you get this game However, That doesn't mean it's a bad game though the game is a unique experience like Cuphead and Night in the Woods but unlike those 2, This (like Cuphead) is one of them "get gud" kind of game where you HAVE to learn every nook and cranny of the stage in order to beat it Here's some game play to get my drift on the game
In closing: Should you get this game? It depends Camp A: If you're looking for a challenge - YES, BUY IT! Camp B: If you're looking for a Shmup with some bite - YES, BUY IT! Camp C: If you're expecting a fun arcadey shoot'em up - THINK IT OVER! GAME SCORE: 7.8 out of 10 Pros: Unique concept, brutally addictive Cons: Might be brutal to first time players, Fans of Star Soldier and old school shmups as a whole might get lost in the match 'em up concept
